Mean Mondays are Defeated. Mac & Cheese Lasagna Unlikely Hero.

Eat!Everybody hates Mondays. Well, at least I hate Mondays. It’s always so much harder to get up on Mondays, coffee doesn’t seem to work as well, I never want to do the things I have to on Mondays, and they always seem to drag.

The worst part is coming home, at the end of the annoying day, wanting nothing more than to  go to bed, or lay around and watch TV. But your stomach is whining about food. And you have no butler to make you dinner. Things can easily go downhill quick.

It’s way too easy to convince yourself on the way home to pick up a delicious Big Mac so that you don’t have to make something. But when you’re down to the last few dollars and cents, a Big Mac really isn’t a feasible option, if you also want to eat on Tuesday.

So, I have a better, delicious solution, called Mac & Cheese Lasagna. And it is awesome.

Tools

Tools: Mac & Cheese, jar of sauce, bag of cheese, 1 lb ground meat, and teriyaki sauce (for meat).

Directions:

1. Cook ground meat and Mac & Cheese like normal, as directed on packaging. Also preheat oven to 375.

2. Layer Mac & Cheese, ground meat, and then sauce. ( You can also add cheese in between the layers, we just don’t because AJ’s not a huge fan of cheese.)

3. Repeat until baking dish is full.

4. Sprinkle top with as much cheese
as you want.

5. Place dish in oven, and bake for 15 mins. Some recipes will tell you to put the oven to 350 instead, and bake for 20 to 30 mins, but we were hungry and impatient, and since everything’s already cooked, we changed the temperature and time so we could eat it sooner.

6. Take out of oven after 15 mins, and allow to cool for 5 mins.

7. Cut into pieces, and enjoy your delicious, easy dinner.

8. Cover with tin foil, and continue to enjoy left overs for the next few days
